Hi, hi. Long time, no blog. C and I were in Chicago last week since my grandma had to undergo two operations on her spine. (She is super tough and got through both surgeries fine and is doing well, although the road to recovery is going to be a long one.) Otherwise, August has been pleasantly cool and we've been a little lazy (note all of the lounging in PJ's in the above photos). We've recently had a chance to harvest some berries and veggies from our garden. The whole thing is really an overgrown mess and a testament to the fact that we had no idea what we were doing when planting it. Hope you are enjoying the end of your summer as much as we are!
