Last year, when Cece turned one, we were so lucky to get her one-year photos done on her actual birthday, which I thought was super cool. (And I was crazy about the pictures!) With so much going on, I didn't take any pictures on her birthday this year, except right before bedtime while we were playing outside. I'm glad I did. If life gets too busy and these end up being her "official" two-year photos, I think I will be just fine with that. Having this little nugget around has helped more than I ever thought possible.

P.S. Not to make the same "announcement" twice, but I just wanted to let people know that although life is difficult at the moment, I do plan to keep posting. I'm not sure at what kind of frequency, but I do know that it's been helping me to focus on the small, yet significantly good things in life. My dad loved reading this blog as much as I love writing it, so I don't want to stop. I really think it's going to be a good thing for me to continue. And, again, thank you for reading and visiting our small little corner of the internet!
