We let her eat cake!

We had an eventful weekend in St. Cloud right before C’s actual first birthday. We attended Andrea and Michaela’s baby shower on Saturday. On Sunday we got fancy and went to Joe’s uncle Matt’s wedding.  I’ve decided that I like weddings that involve brunch. And mimosas. It was two lovely celebrations in one weekend. As the wedding was on Sunday morning, we had a little party in the afternoon for Cece with Joe’s immediate family. We grilled and had some yummy cake and also got some sweet gifts. I must say that my favorite part of the entire weekend was Cece's method of cake-eating. She decided she was too proper to get it on her hands. So she just face-planted it instead. That's our kind of lady!
