Dom turns one!

Last weekend, our sweet and smiley nephew Dominic turned one! We celebrated by living out all of our gymnastics dreams at North Crest Kids Activity Center.

It's really a toss up as to whether the kids or the adults had more fun. I mean, trampolines and foam pits! Don't be surprised if my 30th birthday is held here.

Dom, you are full of so much awesome. It's been a delight watching you grow up!
Happy Birthday, once more!

Easter 2015

What is more egg-cellent than Olaf the snow man Easter eggs?

(Perhaps ham and cheesy potatoes. That's what.)

But really, Easter was lovely. We stayed in St. Cloud this weekend and on Sunday we celebrated the resurrection of Christ, spring, and new beginnings.

Cece and Michaela had the time of their lives riding on Michaela's four-wheeler. Click here for a hilarious video of these two goofs. It's getting all too easy to envision them as grade-schoolers and teenagers still having the best time together. (Hoping they don't crash into quite as much stuff when they area older though!)

Our little Rosie Posie was not feeling the greatest this weekend, but she did pull it together for a few bunny ear photos.

Love Rosie's chubby little hand clutching her egg find.

Even though this was a frigid Easter (at least it felt that way to me), Cece still had plenty of enthusiasm for egg-hunting. Her basket was mounded high with eggs and she even was happy to go back outside to help Joe and I find our own eggs.

Ooh look! This pretty talkative little lady has been long overdue for an appearance on my blog. Lookin' good, Elise!

As usual, during holidays, we try to get a family photo. Which works out. Sometimes. Here are the shots where people weren't flailing.

Thank you again to my in-laws for hosting yet another fun-filled holiday! It's never easy being away from my family in Chicago so much for holidays, but Joe's family has certainly become my home away from home and I'm so glad my girls have such a

Hope your Easter weekend was ever so nice and that you didn't eat as quite many chocolate eggs as I did.

Easter Sunday 2013

This year's Easter Sunday consisted of a small-ish crowd in St. Cloud. I was glad for the snow finally melting and plenty of ham and cheesy potatoes to go around. Cece got a head start on the egg hunt and learned the art of unwrapping foil-covered chocolate eggs REALLY fast. She also kindly dispersed every piece of Easter grass all over Grandma and Grandpa's first floor. (Sorrrrrry!)

I wanted to get one cute posed shot of the little ladies. Instead I got lots of Cece's tongue hanging out, her rejection of pigtails, and some impromptu cousin hugs. So, naturally, I love these pictures (and I love these girls!).

Hope you had a great Easter!

Christmas 2012

We hope you had a memorable and lovely holiday. As for ourselves, we spent Christmas Eve with Joe's immediate family in St. Cloud (which was a cozy crowd of 23). Cece raked in some awesome gifts, including a shopping cart so we can pretend we are at Target all the time. We were also gifted some stylin' shades for our upcoming trip to Mexico this spring. Even though a handful of the little ones weren't feeling very well, Cece wore herself out playing with all of her cousins. Another holiday well-spent, I would say!

(Even with me forgetting all of our gifts in Chicago. Yep. That really happened.)
