Crock-Pot Hawaiian Chicken Chili

We're making little Miss Crock-Pot work overtime in the kitchen lately so I don't have to. She's pulling 8+ hour shifts, several times a week. Although we have been more than happy eating pot roast and your standard chili, we need to expand our recipe list. This is, after all, Minnesota. And apparently the winters are long.

I found a chili recipe that called for BBQ sauce and pineapple and knew it had to be done.

It's delicious. Like lick-your-bowl-and-fingers delicious.

You'll need these ingredients: chicken breasts, onion, green bell pepper, garlic, pineapple chunks, diced tomatoes with green chilies, tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, BBQ sauce, chili powder, cumin, and ground ginger.

Find the whole recipe on this blog.

And my little lesson I learned today is that if you try to take a photo of hot food, your lenses will steam up. Who doesn't like a little food residue on their camera? Sigh... I'm a lady with much to learn.
