Roman Holiday

I've lived in Minneapolis for eight years and had not officially seen a show at the Guthrie Theater until last Friday. And it was one spectacular lady date.

My former coworker and current friend, Laura, is in Roman Holiday. The show was absolutely charming and full of energy. I have also never seen such elaborate and ornate sets ever. Wish I could have taken photos! It inspired me to vacation in Rome, but in the 1950s, of course. Laura was dazzling, as she always is. Do see it if you can!

We also got a couple drinks afterwards, which was just as much fun as seeing the show itself.
