To the mothers out there- I think maybe I'm finally starting to get it.
I've learned a lot this past year. Including how to do lots of things one-handed. And how to love like it's my job. Because it is. And I understand why my mom made me wear a turtleneck under everything, including my Princess Jasmine Halloween costume. I can't imagine my life without my mom or without my little girl.
I love my mom. I love being a mom. That's what I know.
Happy Mother's Day to ALL of you wonderful mothers out there.
Especially to my mom, my mother-in-law, my fancy sister-in-laws, my bestie, and all the mama-to-bes I know. It's kind of the best gig in the world.
