Our Little Valentine's...

This year marked our sixth Valentine's Day together, but our first with the C Monster. I feel as though the first photo of her perfectly captures her sassy little self as of late. The day was casual, but memorable. It included a light snow in the morning, followed  by a visit from the Sears repair people to take a look at our malfunctioning dishwasher. (Turns out we need a new dishwasher. Yahooooo.) On a brighter note, Cece did a little finger painting in the morning and assisted me in making some chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I told Joe they were a gift to him from Cece. But the more I think about it, I think they were really more of a gift to me, from myself...

We exchanged cards and gifts when Joe got home from work. I received some tasty chocolates, beautiful flowers and a few other goodies. With a baby that goes to bed by 7, no one spotted us on the fine dining scene. We spent the evening by grabbing some burritos and catching up on some of our favorite shows via the DVR. Pretty Joe and Rachel-esque. Hope everyone had a wonderful day and that everyone also got a chance to eat an inappropriate amount of chocolate.
